Sport Performance Training in the South Hills of Pittsburgh

We offer strength and conditioning for all athletes. Our coaches have direct practical experience working with any athlete from elementary age, middle school, high school, college and professional levels. Strength and conditioning can benefit an athlete no matter when they decide to begin training. Our coaches have Master’s Degrees in exercise science focusing in strength and conditioning along with NCSA Strength & Conditioning Certifications to provide the highest level of training.

Our biggest values when it comes to athletes are to provide speed, strength and stability for every athlete to perform at the most optimal level. These values help athletes to perform at the highest level on the field and help to keep them on the field longer. Injuries can happen but with a proper training program it is proven that an athletes return to play is quicker than athletes who do not train.

Our Strength & Conditioning Programming Include:

  • Upper and Lower Strength

    • Help strengthen all soft tissue such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia

      • Example lifts: Bench Press, Squat, Deadlift, Overhead Press and many variations based on the athletes needs

  • Upper and Lower Conditioning

    • Help increase stamina among all energy systems needed for a game

      • Conditioning through running, sled pushing, and air assault bike

  • Power and Speed

    • Combination of jumping , sprinting, first step explosion, varying olympic lifts and sled sprints

  • Body Positioning

    • Learning proper body mechanics through exercise to transition to optimal body awareness on the field

  • Rotation Mechanics

    • Sport is not just linear. Athletes need to train in rotational patterns for the entire body to enhance quickness and reduction of injury

      • This is most important when athletes are jumping or cutting on the field

  • Core Strength & Stability

    • The entire body’s strength goes as the core does. A strong core will allow for the rest of the body to be strong. This might be the most important part of programming for athletes
